حَدَّثَنَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ مُوسَى قَالَ نا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ قَالَ نا إِسْرَائِيلُ عَنْ ثُوَيْرِ بْنِ أَبِي فَاخِتَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ أَهْدَى إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كِسْرَى فَقَبِلَ مِنْهُ وَأَهْدَى إِلَيْهِ قَيْصَرُ فَقَبِلَ مِنْهُ وَأَهْدَتْ إِلَيْهِ الْمُلُوكُ فَقَبِلَ مِنْهُمْ وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لَا نَعْلَمُهُ يُرْوَى بِهَذَا اللَّفْظِ إِلَّا عَنْ عَلِيٍّ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كِسْرَى فَقَبِلَ مِنْهُ وَأَهْدَى إِلَيْهِ قَيْصَرُ فَقَبِلَ مِنْهُ وَأَهْدَتْ إِلَيْهِ الْمُلُوكُ فَقَبِلَ مِنْهُمْ وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لَا نَعْلَمُهُ يُرْوَى بِهَذَا اللَّفْظِ إِلَّا عَنْ عَلِيٍّ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ
English Translation
Hadrat Ali (may Allah be well pleased with him) narrated: Kisra (the Persian emperor) sent gifts to the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), and he accepted them. And Qaysar (the Roman emperor) also sent him gifts, and he accepted them. And the kings used to send him gifts.
