حَدَّثَنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى قَال حَدَّثنا يعمر بن بشر قَال حَدَّثنا ابن المبارك عن يُونُس عَن الزُّهْرِيّ عَن سَعِيد عَن أَبِي هُرَيرة عَن النَّبِيّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم أَنَّه قال خير الصدقة ما كان عن ظهر غنى وابدأ بمن تعول اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم أَنَّه قال خير الصدقة ما كان عن ظهر غنى وابدأ بمن تعول
English Translation
Muhammad ibn al-Muthanna narrated to us, he said: Ya'mar ibn Bishr narrated to us, he said: Ibn al-Mubarak narrated to us, from Yunus, from az-Zuhri, from Sa'id, from Hadrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him), from the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) who stated: «The best charity is that which is given from surplus wealth, and begin with those you are responsible for.»
