حَدَّثَنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى قَال حَدَّثنا أَبُو داود قَال حَدَّثنا شعبة قَال حَدَّثنا أَبُو إسحاق عَن مَعْمَر وسفيان بن حسين عَن الزُّهْرِيّ عَن سَعِيد عَن أَبِي هُرَيرة عَن النَّبِيّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم أَنَّه قال لا فرع ولاَ عتيرةفقال قال أَبُو إسحاق كان علي وَابن مسعود لا يجعلان فرعا ولاَ عتيرة اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم أَنَّه قال لا فرع ولاَ عتيرةفقال قال أَبُو إسحاق كان علي وَابن مسعود لا يجعلان فرعا ولاَ عتيرة
English Translation
Muhammad ibn al-Muthanna narrated to us, he said: Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Shu'bah narrated to us, he said: Abu Ishaq narrated to us, from Ma'mar and Sufyan ibn Husayn, from az-Zuhri, from Sa'id, from Hadrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him), from the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) who stated: «There is no fara' and no atirah.» Abu Ishaq said: Ali and Ibn Mas'ud did not observe fara' or atirah.
