حَدَّثَنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى قَال حَدَّثنا عَبد الرحمن بن مهدي قَال حَدَّثنا مالك عَن الزُّهْرِيّ عَن سَعِيد بن الْمُسَيَّب عَن أبي هُرَيرة أنه قال لو رأيت الظباء ترعى بالمدينة ما زرعتها أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم قال ما بين لابتيها حراموهذا الحديث قد رواه غير مالك عَن الزُّهْرِيّ عَن سَعِيد فاقتصرنا على مالك اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم قال ما بين لابتيها حراموهذا الحديث قد رواه غير مالك عَن الزُّهْرِيّ عَن سَعِيد فاقتصرنا على مالك
English Translation
Muhammad ibn al-Muthanna narrated to us, he said: Abd al-Rahman ibn Mahdi narrated to us, he said: Malik narrated to us, from az-Zuhri, from Sa'id ibn al-Musayyib, from Hadrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him) who said: "If I saw the gazelles grazing in Madinah, I would not disturb them, for the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: «What is between its two lava tracts is sacred.»" This hadith has been narrated by others besides Malik from az-Zuhri from Sa'id, and we have limited ourselves to Malik's narration.
