حَدَّثنا يحيى بن مُحَمد السكن حدثني عَبد الغفار بن عُبَيد الله قَال حَدَّثنا صالح بن أبي الأخضر عَن ابن شِهاب عَن أبي أُمَامَة بن سَهْل عَن أبي هُرَيرة قَالَ قَالَ رَسُول اللهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم الرؤيا من الله والحلم من الشيطان فإذا رأى أحدكم ما يكره فليتفل عن يساره وليستعذ بالله من شره فلن يضرهوَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لا نعلَمُ أحَدًا رَوَاهُ عَن الزُّهْرِيّ عَن أبي أُمَامَة إلاَّ صالح اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم الرؤيا من الله والحلم من الشيطان فإذا رأى أحدكم ما يكره فليتفل عن يساره وليستعذ بالله من شره فلن يضرهوَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لا نعلَمُ أحَدًا رَوَاهُ عَن الزُّهْرِيّ عَن أبي أُمَامَة إلاَّ صالح
English Translation
Yahya ibn Muhammad as-Sakan narrated to me, Abd al-Ghaffar ibn Ubaydullah narrated to me, he said: Salih ibn Abi al-Akhdar narrated to us, from Ibn Shihab, from Abu Umamah ibn Sahl, from Hadrat Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be well pleased with him) who said: The Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: «The vision is from Allah and the dream is from Satan. So if one of you sees what he dislikes, let him spit to his left and seek refuge with Allah from its evil, and it will not harm him.» This hadith — we do not know anyone who narrated it from az-Zuhri from Abu Umamah except Salih.
