حَدَّثنا مُحَمد بن صالح العدوي حَدَّثنا أَبُو معاوية حَدَّثنا الحجا بْنُ أَرْطَأَةَ عَن قَتادة عَن أَنَس أَن عَبد الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ عَوْفٍ تَزَوَّجَ امْرَأَةً عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم عَلَى وَزْنِ نَوَاةٍ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ قَالَ كَانَ قيمتها ثلاثة دراهم وثلثوَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لا نَعْلَمُ رَوَاهُ عَن قَتادة عَن أَنَس إلاَّ الْحَجَّاجُ بْنُ أَرْطَأَةَ عَوْفٍ تَزَوَّجَ امْرَأَةً عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم عَلَى وَزْنِ نَوَاةٍ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ قَالَ كَانَ قيمتها ثلاثة دراهم وثلثوَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لا نَعْلَمُ رَوَاهُ عَن قَتادة عَن أَنَس إلاَّ الْحَجَّاجُ بْنُ أَرْطَأَةَ
English Translation
Muhammad ibn al-Muthanna narrated to us: 'Amr ibn 'Asim narrated to us: Hammam narrated to us from Qatadah from Anas from the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) who stated: «Madinah is a Haram (sacred) from such-and-such place to such-and-such place. Its trees are not to be cut and no innovation is to be committed in it. Whoever commits an innovation in it, upon him is the curse of Allah, the angels, and all of mankind.»
