حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحِيمِ وَبِشْرُ بْنُ آدَمَ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَعْمَرٍ قَالُوا نا رَوْحُ بْنُ عُبَادَةَ قَالَ نا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ أَبِي ثَابِتٍ عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ ضَمْرَةَ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ لَا تُبْرِزْ فَخِذَكَ وَلَا تَنْظُرْ إِلَى فَخِذِ حَيٍّ وَلَا مَيِّتٍ وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لَا نَعْلَمُهُ يُرْوَى عَنْ عَلِيٍّ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَّا مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ قَالَ لَا تُبْرِزْ فَخِذَكَ وَلَا تَنْظُرْ إِلَى فَخِذِ حَيٍّ وَلَا مَيِّتٍ وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لَا نَعْلَمُهُ يُرْوَى عَنْ عَلِيٍّ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَّا مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ
English Translation
Hadrat Ali (may Allah be well pleased with him) narrated from the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) who said: "Do not expose your thigh, and do not look at the thigh of any living or dead person." This hadith is not known to be narrated from Ali from the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) except through this chain of transmission.
