حَدَّثنا يعقوب بن إبراهيم حَدَّثنا سعيد بن عامر حَدَّثنا شُعْبَةُ عَن قَتادة عَن أَنَس أَن قَوْمًا شَهِدُوا عِنْدَ النَّبِيّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم عَلَى رُؤْيَةِ الْهِلالِ هِلالِ شَوَّالٍ فَأَمَرَهُمْ أَنْ يُفْطِرُوا وَأَنْ يَغْدُوا عَلَى عِيدِهِمْوَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ أَخْطَأَ فِيهِ سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ وَإِنَّمَا رَوَاهُ شُعْبَةُ عَن أَبِي بِشْرٍ عَن أَبِي عُمَيْرِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ أَنَّ عُمُومَةً لَهُ شَهِدُوا عِنْدَ النَّبِيّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم عَلَيه وَسَلَّم عَلَى رُؤْيَةِ الْهِلالِ هِلالِ شَوَّالٍ فَأَمَرَهُمْ أَنْ يُفْطِرُوا وَأَنْ يَغْدُوا عَلَى عِيدِهِمْوَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ أَخْطَأَ فِيهِ سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ وَإِنَّمَا رَوَاهُ شُعْبَةُ عَن أَبِي بِشْرٍ عَن أَبِي عُمَيْرِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ أَنَّ عُمُومَةً لَهُ شَهِدُوا عِنْدَ النَّبِيّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم
English Translation
Ya'qub ibn Ibrahim narrated to us: Sa'id ibn 'Amir narrated to us: Shu'bah narrated to us from Qatadah from Anas that some people testified before the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) that they had sighted the crescent moon of Shawwal, so he commanded them to break their fast and to go out to their Eid prayer the next morning. This hadith, Sa'id ibn 'Amir erred in it. It was only narrated by Shu'bah from Abu Bishr from Abu 'Umayr ibn Anas that some of his paternal uncles testified before the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) about the sighting of the crescent.
