Arabic (Original)
وحَدَّثناه محمد بن عبد الملك حَدَّثنا سَلَّامٌ أَبُو الْمُنْذِرِ عَنْ ثابتٍ عَن أَنَسٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم حُبِّبَ إِلَيَّ النِّسَاءُ وَالطِّيبُ وَجُعِلَتْ قُرَّةُ عَيْنِي فِي الصَّلاةِ اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم حُبِّبَ إِلَيَّ النِّسَاءُ وَالطِّيبُ وَجُعِلَتْ قُرَّةُ عَيْنِي فِي الصَّلاةِ
English Translation
It was narrated from Abdullah ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: «There is no man who calls his companion with a name that he dislikes except that it shall be inscribed against him until he seeks forgiveness from it.»
Urdu Translation
حضرت عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: «کوئی آدمی نہیں جو اپنے ساتھی کو ایسے نام سے پکارے جو اسے ناپسند ہو، مگر یہ کہ اس کے خلاف لکھا جائے گا یہاں تک کہ وہ اس سے معافی مانگے۔»
