حَدَّثنا محمد بن المثني حَدَّثنا سليمان بن حرب حَدَّثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَن حَبيب بْنِ الشَّهِيدِ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَن أَنَسٍ قَالَ خَرَجَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي مَرَضِهِ الَّذِي مَاتَ فِيهِ مُتَوَكِّئًا عَلَى أُسَامة مُرْتَدِيًا بِثَوْبٍ قُطْنٍ فَصَلَّى بِالنَّاسِوَلا نَعْلَمُ رُوِيَ حَبِيبٌ عَن الْحَسَنِ عَن أَنَس إلاَّ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ ولاَ رَوَاهُ عَنْهُ إلاَّ حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ تَفَرَّدَ بِهِ أَنَسٌ عَلِيُّ بْنُ زَيْدٍ عَن الْحَسَنِ عَنْهُ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي مَرَضِهِ الَّذِي مَاتَ فِيهِ مُتَوَكِّئًا عَلَى أُسَامة مُرْتَدِيًا بِثَوْبٍ قُطْنٍ فَصَلَّى بِالنَّاسِوَلا نَعْلَمُ رُوِيَ حَبِيبٌ عَن الْحَسَنِ عَن أَنَس إلاَّ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ ولاَ رَوَاهُ عَنْهُ إلاَّ حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ تَفَرَّدَ بِهِ أَنَسٌ عَلِيُّ بْنُ زَيْدٍ عَن الْحَسَنِ عَنْهُ
English Translation
Muhammad ibn al-Muthanna narrated to us, Sulayman ibn Harb narrated to us, Hammad ibn Salamah narrated to us, from Habib ibn al-Shahid, from al-Hasan, from Hadrat Anas (may Allah be well pleased with him) who said: The Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) came out during his illness in which he died, leaning on Usamah, wearing a cotton garment, and he led the people in prayer. We do not know that Habib narrated from al-Hasan, from Anas except this hadith, nor did anyone narrate it from him except Hammad ibn Salamah. Anas alone narrated it. Ali ibn Zayd narrated from al-Hasan, from him.
