حدثنا محمد بن المثنى حدثنا خالد بن الحارث حدثنا حُمَيد عَنْ أَنَسٍ إن شاء الله قَالَ سَمِعَ الْمُسْلِمُونَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُنَادِي من الليل عَلَى قَلِيبِ بَدْر يَا أَبَا جَهْلِ بْنَ هِشَامٍ وَيا عُتْبَةُ بْنَ رَبِيعَةَ وَيَا شَيْبَةُ بْنَ رَبِيعَة وَيَا أُمَيَّةُ بْنَ خَلَفٍ هَلْ وَجَدْتُمْ مَا وعدكم ربكم حَقًّا فَإِنِّي قَدْ وَجَدْتُ مَا وَعَدَنِي رَبِّي حَقًّا قَالُوا يَا رَسولَ اللهِ تُنَادِي قَوْمًا قَدْ صَارُوا جِيَفًا قَالَ مَا أَنْتُمْ بِأَسْمَعَ لما أقول منهم إلاَّ أنهم لا يستطيعون أَنْ يُجِيبُواوَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لا نَعْلَمُ رَوَاهُ بِهَذَا اللَّفْظِ عَن أَنَس إلاَّ حُمَيد وَقَدْ رَوَى ثابتٌ بعضَ هذا الكلام
English Translation
Muhammad ibn Bashshar narrated to us: Muhammad ibn Ja'far narrated to us: Shu'bah narrated to us from Abu al-Tayyah from Anas from the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) who stated: «Make things easy and do not make things difficult. Give glad tidings and do not drive people away.» This hadith, we do not know of anyone who narrated it from Shu'bah from Abu al-Tayyah from Anas except Muhammad ibn Ja'far.
