وَبِإِسْنَادِهِ قَالَ بَيْنَمَا نَحْنُ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذْ جَاءَ أَعْرَابِيٌّ فَقَامَ يَبُولُ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ فَقَامَ إِلَيْهِ أَصْحَابُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لا تَزْرِمُوهُ فَتَرَكُوهُ حَتَّى بَالَ ثُمَّ أَتَى بِهِ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ إِنَّ هَذِهِ الْمَسَاجِدَ لا تَصْلُحُ لِشَيْءٍ مِنْ هَذَا الْبَوْلِ ولاَ الْقَذَرِ إِنَّمَا هِيَ لِذِكْرِ اللَّهِ وَالصَّلاةِ وَقِرَاءَةِ الْقُرْآنِ ثُمَّ قال لرجل من القوم فجاء رجل بِذَنُوبٍ مِنْ مَاءٍ فَشَنَّهُ عَلَيْهِ جَاءَ أَعْرَابِيٌّ فَقَامَ يَبُولُ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ فَقَامَ إِلَيْهِ أَصْحَابُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لا تَزْرِمُوهُ فَتَرَكُوهُ حَتَّى بَالَ ثُمَّ أَتَى بِهِ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ إِنَّ هَذِهِ الْمَسَاجِدَ لا تَصْلُحُ لِشَيْءٍ مِنْ هَذَا الْبَوْلِ ولاَ الْقَذَرِ إِنَّمَا هِيَ لِذِكْرِ اللَّهِ وَالصَّلاةِ وَقِرَاءَةِ الْقُرْآنِ ثُمَّ قال لرجل من القوم فجاء رجل بِذَنُوبٍ مِنْ مَاءٍ فَشَنَّهُ عَلَيْهِ
English Translation
And with his chain of narration, he said: While we were in the mosque with the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), a Bedouin came and stood urinating in the mosque. The Companions of the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) rose towards him, but the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: «Do not interrupt him.» So they left him until he finished urinating. Then the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) called him and said: «Indeed these mosques are not suitable for any of this urine or filth. They are only for the remembrance of Allah, prayer, and the recitation of the Quran.» Then he told a man from the people, and a man brought a bucket of water and poured it over it.
