حَدَّثنا بِشْر بن معاذ العقدي حَدَّثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي عَطَاءٍ حَدَّثَنِي عِكْرِمَةُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ عَنْ سَالِمٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَال قَالَ رَسُول اللهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم إِنَّ تَبَسُّمَكَ فِي وَجْهِ أَخِيكَ يُكْتَبُ لَكَ بِهِ صَدَقَةٌ وَإن إِفْرَاغَكَ مِنْ دَلْوِكَ فِي دَلْوِ أَخِيكَ يُكْتَبُ لَكَ بِهِ صَدَقَةٌ اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم إِنَّ تَبَسُّمَكَ فِي وَجْهِ أَخِيكَ يُكْتَبُ لَكَ بِهِ صَدَقَةٌ وَإن إِفْرَاغَكَ مِنْ دَلْوِكَ فِي دَلْوِ أَخِيكَ يُكْتَبُ لَكَ بِهِ صَدَقَةٌ
English Translation
Bishr ibn Mu'adh al-Aqadi narrated to us, Yahya ibn Abi Ata narrated to us, Ikrimah ibn Ammar narrated to me from Salim from his father who said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Your smiling in the face of your brother is recorded as charity for you, and your pouring from your bucket into the bucket of your brother is recorded as charity for you."
