حَدَّثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ وَرْدِ بْنِ عَبد اللَّهِ حَدَّثنا أبي حَدَّثنا عَدِيّ بن الفضل حَدَّثنا أَيُّوبَ عَن نافعٍ عَن ابْنِ عُمَر أَن رَسولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم قَالَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ وِتْرٌ يُحِبُّ الْوِتْرَ اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم قَالَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ وِتْرٌ يُحِبُّ الْوِتْرَ
English Translation
Al-Hasan ibn Ali al-Khallal narrated to us saying: Yazid ibn Harun narrated to us saying: Hammam narrated to us from Qatadah from Anas (may Allah be well pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: «Three things follow the deceased: his family, his wealth, and his deeds. Two of them return: his family and his wealth. And one remains: his deeds.»
