حَدَّثنا أَبُو موسى قَال حَدَّثنا يَحْيَى بن حماد قَال حَدَّثنا أَبُو عَوَانة عَن سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ عَدِيّ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ عَن سَعِيد بْنِ جُبَير عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِي اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا قَالَ يَقُولُ أَحَدُهُمْ أَبِي صَحِبَ النَّبِيّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم وَكان مَعَ أَبِي ولَنَعْلٌ خَلَقٌ خَيْرٌ مِنْ أَبِيهِ النَّبِيّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم وَكان مَعَ أَبِي ولَنَعْلٌ خَلَقٌ خَيْرٌ مِنْ أَبِيهِ
English Translation
Muhammad ibn al-Muthanna narrated to us, he said: Waki' narrated to us, from al-Mas'udi, from al-Hakam, from Miqsam, from Ibn Abbas (may Allah be well pleased with them both), that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) prayed the funeral prayer over a woman who died during childbirth. He stood at her midsection.
