حَدَّثنا مُحَمد بن حرب قَال حَدَّثنا عمير بن عمران قَال حَدَّثنا ابْنُ جُرَيج عَن عَطَاءٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِي اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم قَالَ لَيْسَ مِنَ الْبِرِّ الصَّوْمُ فِي السَّفَرِ اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم قَالَ لَيْسَ مِنَ الْبِرِّ الصَّوْمُ فِي السَّفَرِ
English Translation
Abu Kamil narrated to us, he said: Abu Awanah narrated to us, from al-A'mash, from Muslim al-Batin, from Sa'id ibn Jubayr, from Ibn Abbas (may Allah be well pleased with them both), who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: «Whoever takes back his gift is like a dog that returns to its vomit.»
