حَدَّثنا مُحَمد بن عَبد الرحيم قَال حَدَّثنا عُبَيد بن جناد قَال حَدَّثنا عُبَيد اللَّهِ بْنُ عَمْرو عَن عَبد الْكَرِيمِ عَن عِكْرِمة عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِي اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم احْتَجَمَ وَأَنَّ الْحَجَّامَ شَكَا إِلَيْهِ ضَرِيبَتَهُ فَأَرْسَلَ إِلَى مَوَالِيهِ أَنْ يُخَفِّفُوا مِنْ ضَرِيبَتِهِ اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم احْتَجَمَ وَأَنَّ الْحَجَّامَ شَكَا إِلَيْهِ ضَرِيبَتَهُ فَأَرْسَلَ إِلَى مَوَالِيهِ أَنْ يُخَفِّفُوا مِنْ ضَرِيبَتِهِ
English Translation
Amr ibn Ali narrated to us, he said: Yahya narrated to us, he said: Shu'bah narrated to us, from Abu Bishr, from Sa'id ibn Jubayr, from Ibn Abbas (may Allah be well pleased with them both), who said: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: «Umrah during Ramadan is equivalent to Hajj.» This hadith has been narrated from Ibn Abbas from more than one route.
