English Translation
Al-Hasan ibn Arafah narrated to us, he said: Abu Mu'awiyah narrated to us, from al-A'mash, from Habib ibn Abi Thabit, from Sa'id ibn Jubayr, from Ibn Abbas (may Allah be well pleased with them both), who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: «Whoever is killed in a stampede, or by being crushed [by a crowd], or by accidental striking, or by a well [falling in], or by a beast — it is compensation [blood money], and deliberate killing requires retaliation.»
