حَدَّثنا سَهْل قَال حَدَّثنا مُحَمد بن سليمان قَال حَدَّثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ زَكَرِيَّا مَوْلَى بَنِي أَسَدٍ عَنْ مُحَمد بْنِ عَوْنٍ الْخُرَاسَانِيِّ عَن عِكْرِمة عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِي اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا قَالَ قَالَ رَسُول اللهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم مَا مِنْ أَحَدٍ إلاَّ يَلْقَى اللَّهَ قَدْ هَمَّ بِخَطِيئَةٍ أَوْ عَمِلَهَا إلاَّ يَحْيَى بْنُ زَكَرِيَّا فَإِنَّهُ لَمْ يَهِمَّ بِهَا وَلَمْ يَعْمَلْهَا اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم مَا مِنْ أَحَدٍ إلاَّ يَلْقَى اللَّهَ قَدْ هَمَّ بِخَطِيئَةٍ أَوْ عَمِلَهَا إلاَّ يَحْيَى بْنُ زَكَرِيَّا فَإِنَّهُ لَمْ يَهِمَّ بِهَا وَلَمْ يَعْمَلْهَا
English Translation
Amr ibn Ali narrated to us, he said: Yahya narrated to us, from Sufyan, from Simak, from Ikrimah, from Ibn Abbas (may Allah be well pleased with them both), who said: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) prayed [combining] the fear prayer, each group praying one rak'ah. Each man prayed only one rak'ah. This hadith has been narrated from Ibn Abbas through this route with this chain, and it was narrated by Abu Awanah and others from Simak from Ikrimah from Ibn Abbas from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).
