حَدَّثنا مُحَمد بْنُ عُثمَان بْنِ كَرَامَةَ قَال حَدَّثنا عُبَيد اللَّهِ عَن إِسْرَائِيلَ عَن أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَن سَعِيد بْنِ جُبَير عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِي اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا قَالَ سُئِلَ مِثْلُ مَنْ كُنْتَ حِينَ تُوُفِّيَ النَّبِيّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم قَالَ أَنَا يَوْمَئِذٍ مَخْتُونٌ كُنْتَ حِينَ تُوُفِّيَ النَّبِيّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم قَالَ أَنَا يَوْمَئِذٍ مَخْتُونٌ
English Translation
Muhammad ibn Uthman ibn Karamah narrated to us, he said: Ubayd Allah narrated to us, from Isra'il, from Abu Ishaq, from Sa'id ibn Jubayr, from Ibn Abbas (may Allah be well pleased with them both), who was asked: 'How old were you when the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) passed away?' He said: 'I was at that time circumcised.' And they used to not circumcise a boy until he reached maturity.
