حَدَّثنا عَبد الواحد بن غياث قَال حَدَّثنا أَبُو عَوَانة عَن عَبد الأَعْلَى عَن سَعِيد بْنِ جُبَير عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِي اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم مَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَيَّ مُتَعَمِّدًا أَوْ قَالَ عَلَيَّ مَا لَمْ أَقُلْ فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ من النار اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم مَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَيَّ مُتَعَمِّدًا أَوْ قَالَ عَلَيَّ مَا لَمْ أَقُلْ فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ من النار
English Translation
Abd al-Wahid ibn Ghiyath narrated to us, he said: Abu Awanah narrated to us, from Abd al-A'la, from Sa'id ibn Jubayr, from Ibn Abbas (may Allah be well pleased with them both), who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: «Whoever lies about me deliberately, or attributes to me what I did not say, let him take his seat in the Fire.»
