English Translation

Muhammad ibn al-Muthanna narrated to us, he said: Ibn Abi Adi narrated to us, from Sa'id, from Qatadah, from Jabir ibn Zayd, from Ibn Abbas — similar to the hadith of Shu'bah, but he did not attribute it to the Prophet [i.e., he reported it as a statement of Ibn Abbas, not raised to the Prophet].
