حَدَّثنا الحسن بن قزعة قَال حَدَّثنا سلام بن أبي خبزة قَال حَدَّثنا يُونُسَ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ سَمُرة رَضِي اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ أَمَرَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم أَنْ نُصَلِّيَ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ مَا قَلَّ أَوْ كَثُرَ وَنَجْعَلَ آخِرَ ذَلِكَ وِتْرًا صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم أَنْ نُصَلِّيَ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ مَا قَلَّ أَوْ كَثُرَ وَنَجْعَلَ آخِرَ ذَلِكَ وِتْرًا
English Translation
Narrated Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him): The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) ordered us to pray at night whatever amount, little or much, and to make the last of it the witr prayer.
