اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم فَلَمَّا افْتَتَحَ الصَّلاةَ رَفَعَ يَدَيْهِ حَتَّى بَلَغَ بِهِمَا أُذُنَيْهِ وَكَبَّرَ ثُمَّ وَضَعَ يَدَهُ الْيُمْنَى عَلى الْيُسْرَى فَلَمَّا رَكَعَ رَفَعَ وَرَفَعَ يَدَيْهِ حِينَ رَفَعَ فلما جلس في الثانية عَلَى رِجْلِهِ الْيُسْرَى حدثناهَا تَحْتَهُ ثُمَّ نَصَبَ الْيُمْنَى وَوَضَعَ يَدَهُ الْيُمْنَى عَلَى فَخِذِهِ الْيُمْنَى وَيَدَهُ الْيُسْرَى عَلَى فَخِذِهِ الْيُسْرَى وَحَلَّقَ حَلْقَةً بِأُصْبُعِهِ السَّبَّابَةِ بِالْيُمْنَى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم فَلَمَّا افْتَتَحَ الصَّلاةَ رَفَعَ يَدَيْهِ حَتَّى بَلَغَ بِهِمَا أُذُنَيْهِ وَكَبَّرَ ثُمَّ وَضَعَ يَدَهُ الْيُمْنَى عَلى الْيُسْرَى فَلَمَّا رَكَعَ رَفَعَ وَرَفَعَ يَدَيْهِ حِينَ رَفَعَ فلما جلس في الثانية عَلَى رِجْلِهِ الْيُسْرَى حدثناهَا تَحْتَهُ ثُمَّ نَصَبَ الْيُمْنَى وَوَضَعَ يَدَهُ الْيُمْنَى عَلَى فَخِذِهِ الْيُمْنَى وَيَدَهُ الْيُسْرَى عَلَى فَخِذِهِ الْيُسْرَى وَحَلَّقَ حَلْقَةً بِأُصْبُعِهِ السَّبَّابَةِ بِالْيُمْنَى
English Translation
[Wa'il ibn Hujr said: I prayed behind the Prophet] (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). When he commenced the prayer, he raised his hands until they reached his ears and said the takbir. Then he placed his right hand over his left. When he bowed, he raised [his hands], and he raised his hands when he stood up. When he sat in the second [rak'ah], he sat on his left leg, tucking it beneath him, then propped up his right foot. He placed his right hand on his right thigh and his left hand on his left thigh, and formed a ring with his index finger of his right hand.
