English Translation
Muhammad ibn Abdullah ibn al-Mubarak al-Mukharrimi narrated to us saying: Abd ar-Razzaq narrated to us from Ma'mar from Hammam ibn Munabbih who said: This is what Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him) narrated to us from Muhammad, the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) - and he mentioned hadiths, among them: The Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: 'The prayer in congregation is twenty-five degrees superior to the prayer of one of you in his house or in his market. That is because when one of you performs ablution well, then goes to the mosque with no intention except prayer, not taking a step except that he is raised a degree for it and a sin is removed from him. When he prays, the angels continue to invoke blessings upon him as long as he is in his prayer place: O Allah, have mercy on him, O Allah, forgive him, O Allah, accept his repentance. And one of you is in prayer as long as the prayer detains him.'
