حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى قَالَ نَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ نَا شُعْبَةُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ مُهَاجِرًا أَبَا الْحَسَنِ يُخْبِرُ أَوْ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ وَهْبٍ عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّ شِدَّةَ الْحَرِّ مِنْ فَيْحِ جَهَنَّمَ فَأَبْرِدُوا بِالصَّلَاةِ فِي شِدَّةِ الْحَرِّ يَعْنِي بِصَلَاةِ الظُّهْرِ وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لَا نَعْلَمُهُ يُرْوَى عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَّا مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ إِنَّ شِدَّةَ الْحَرِّ مِنْ فَيْحِ جَهَنَّمَ فَأَبْرِدُوا بِالصَّلَاةِ فِي شِدَّةِ الْحَرِّ يَعْنِي بِصَلَاةِ الظُّهْرِ وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لَا نَعْلَمُهُ يُرْوَى عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَّا مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ
English Translation
Muhammad ibn al-Muthanna narrated to us, he said: Muhammad ibn Ja'far narrated to us, he said: Shu'bah narrated to us, he said: I heard Muhajir Abu al-Hasan reporting or narrating from Zayd ibn Wahb, from Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The intensity of heat is from the exhalation of Hell, so delay the Zuhr prayer when the heat is intense. This hadith is not known to be narrated from Abu Dharr from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) except through this route with this chain.
