حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَعْمَرٍ قَالَ نَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي عَنْ حُسَيْنٍ يَعْنِي الْمُعَلِّمَ عَنِ ابْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ يَعْمَرَ أَنَّ أَبَا الْأَسْوَدِ حَدَّثَهُ عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ لَا يَرْمِي رَجُلٌ رَجُلًا بِالْفِسْقِ وَلَا يَرْمِيَهُ بِالْكُفْرِ إِلَّا رُدَّتْ عَلَيْهِ إِنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ صَاحِبُهُ كَذَلِكَ وَهَذَا الْكَلَامُ لَا نَعْلَمُهُ يُرْوَى عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِهَذَا اللَّفْظِ إِلَّا مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ يَقُولُ لَا يَرْمِي رَجُلٌ رَجُلًا بِالْفِسْقِ وَلَا يَرْمِيَهُ بِالْكُفْرِ إِلَّا رُدَّتْ عَلَيْهِ إِنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ صَاحِبُهُ كَذَلِكَ وَهَذَا الْكَلَامُ لَا نَعْلَمُهُ يُرْوَى عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِهَذَا اللَّفْظِ إِلَّا مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ
English Translation
Muhammad ibn Ma'mar narrated to us, he said: Abd al-Samad narrated to us, he said: my father narrated to me, from Husayn -- meaning al-Mu'allim -- from Ibn Buraydah, from Yahya ibn Ya'mar, that Abu al-Aswad narrated to him, from Abu Dharr, that he heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: "No man accuses another man of wickedness or disbelief except that it returns upon him, if his companion is not as he described." This narration is not known to be reported from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) with this wording except through this route with this chain.
