حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الصَّاغَانِيُّ قَالَ نَا أَبُو الْأَسْوَدِ قَالَ أَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ يَعْنِي عُبَيْدَ اللَّهِ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ جَزْءٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ يَسْتَنْجِيَ أَحَدٌ بِعَظْمٍ أَوْ رَوْثَةٍ أَوْ حُمَمَةٍ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ يَسْتَنْجِيَ أَحَدٌ بِعَظْمٍ أَوْ رَوْثَةٍ أَوْ حُمَمَةٍ
English Translation
Muhammad ibn Ishaq al-Saghani narrated to us, he said: Abu al-Aswad narrated to us, he said: Ibn Lahi'ah informed us, from Ibn al-Mughirah — meaning 'Ubayd Allah — from Abu Salamah ibn 'Abd al-Rahman, from 'Abdullah ibn al-Harith ibn Jaz', may Allah be well pleased with him, who said: The Messenger of Allah, blessings and peace of Allah be upon him, forbade anyone from cleansing himself with a bone, dung, or a piece of charcoal.
