حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحِيمِ قَالَ نَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ قَالَ نَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ أَبِي حُمَيْدٍ السَّاعِدِيِّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ هَدَايَا الْعُمَّالِ غُلُولٌ قَالَ وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ رَوَاهُ إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ وَاخْتَصَرَهُ وَأَخْطَأَ فِيهِ وَإِنَّمَا هُوَ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِي حُمَيْدٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَعَثَ رَجُلًا عَلَى الصَّدَقَةِ هَدَايَا الْعُمَّالِ غُلُولٌ قَالَ وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ رَوَاهُ إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ وَاخْتَصَرَهُ وَأَخْطَأَ فِيهِ وَإِنَّمَا هُوَ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِي حُمَيْدٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَعَثَ رَجُلًا عَلَى الصَّدَقَةِ
English Translation
Muhammad ibn Abd al-Rahim narrated to us, he said: Ibrahim ibn Mahdi narrated to us, he said: Isma'il ibn Ayyash narrated to us, from Yahya ibn Sa'id, from Urwah ibn al-Zubayr, from Abu Humayd al-Sa'idi, may Allah be well pleased with him, who said: The Messenger of Allah, blessings and peace of Allah be upon him, said: "The gifts of officials are ill-gotten gains [ghulul]." He said: This hadith - Isma'il ibn Ayyash narrated it, abbreviated it, and erred in it. It is actually from al-Zuhri, from Urwah, from Abu Humayd, that the Prophet, blessings and peace of Allah be upon him, appointed a man over the charitable donations.
