حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ نَا قُرَّةُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ قَالَ نَا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ سُلَيْمٍ قَالَ نَا شَيْخٌ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَاقِفًا عَلَى بَغْلَتِهِ فَجَاءَتْهُ امْرَأَةٌ فَقَالَتْ إِنَّهَا قَدْ زَنَتْ فَارْجُمْهَا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ فَقَالَ لَهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ اسْتَتِرِي بِسِتْرِ اللَّهِ ثُمَّ أَتَتْهُ يَوْمًا آخَرَ وَهُوَ عَلَى بَغْلَتِهِ فَقَالَتْ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ارْجُمْهَا فَقَالَ اسْتَتِرِي بِسِتْرِ اللَّهِ ثُمَّ جَاءَتِ الْيَوْمَ الثَّالِثَ وَهُوَ عَلَى بَغْلَتِهِ فَأَخَذْتِ اللِّجَامَ فَقَالَتْ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَنْشُدُكَ اللَّهَ إِلَّا رَجَمْتَهَا فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ اذْهَبِي حَتَّى تَلِدِي فَوَلَدَتْ غُلَامًا فَجَاءَتْ بِهِ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ لَهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ انْطَلِقِي فَتَطَهَّرِي مِنَ الدَّمِ فَذَهَبْتُ وَجَاءَتْ فَقَالَتْ إِنَّهَا قَدْ تَطَهَّرَتْ مِنَ الدَّمِ فَبَعَثَ إِلَى نِسْوَةٍ فَأَمَرَهُنَّ أَنْ يَسْتَبْرِينَهَا ثُمَّ حَفَرَ لَهَا حَفِيرَةً ثُمَّ أَخَذَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَصَاةً مِثْلَ الْحِمِّصَةِ ثُمَّ رَمَاهَا فَرَمَاهَا النَّاسُ قَالَ وَهَذَا حَدِيثُ بِهَذَا اللَّفْظِ لَا نَحْفَظُهُ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَّا مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ وَلَا نَعْلَمُ لَهُ طَرِيقًا غَيْرَ هَذَا الطَّرِيقِ وَزَكَرِيَّا بْنُ سُلَيْمٍ بَصْرِيُّ وَلَا نَعْلَمُ أَحَدًا سَمَّى هَذَا الشَّيْخَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ فَقَالَ لَهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ اسْتَتِرِي بِسِتْرِ اللَّهِ ثُمَّ أَتَتْهُ يَوْمًا آخَرَ وَهُوَ عَلَى بَغْلَتِهِ فَقَالَتْ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ارْجُمْهَا فَقَالَ اسْتَتِرِي بِسِتْرِ اللَّهِ ثُمَّ جَاءَتِ الْيَوْمَ الثَّالِثَ وَهُوَ عَلَى بَغْلَتِهِ فَأَخَذْتِ اللِّجَامَ فَقَالَتْ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَنْشُدُكَ اللَّهَ إِلَّا رَجَمْتَهَا فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ اذْهَبِي حَتَّى تَلِدِي فَوَلَدَتْ غُلَامًا فَجَاءَتْ بِهِ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ لَهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ انْطَلِقِي فَتَطَهَّرِي مِنَ الدَّمِ فَذَهَبْتُ وَجَاءَتْ فَقَالَتْ إِنَّهَا قَدْ تَطَهَّرَتْ مِنَ الدَّمِ فَبَعَثَ إِلَى نِسْوَةٍ فَأَمَرَهُنَّ أَنْ يَسْتَبْرِينَهَا ثُمَّ حَفَرَ لَهَا حَفِيرَةً ثُمَّ أَخَذَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَصَاةً مِثْلَ الْحِمِّصَةِ ثُمَّ رَمَاهَا فَرَمَاهَا النَّاسُ قَالَ وَهَذَا حَدِيثُ بِهَذَا اللَّفْظِ لَا نَحْفَظُهُ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَّا مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ وَلَا نَعْلَمُ لَهُ طَرِيقًا غَيْرَ هَذَا الطَّرِيقِ وَزَكَرِيَّا بْنُ سُلَيْمٍ بَصْرِيُّ وَلَا نَعْلَمُ أَحَدًا سَمَّى هَذَا الشَّيْخَ
English Translation
Amr ibn Ali narrated to us, he said: Qurrah ibn Sulayman narrated to us, he said: Zakariyya ibn Sulaym narrated to us, he said: A shaykh from Quraysh narrated to us, from Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi Bakrah, from his father, may Allah be well pleased with him, who said: I saw the Messenger of Allah, blessings and peace of Allah be upon him, standing on his mule when a woman came to him and said: "I have committed adultery, so stone me, O Messenger of Allah." The Messenger of Allah, blessings and peace of Allah be upon him, said to her: "Conceal yourself with the concealment of Allah." Then she came to him another day while he was on his mule and said: "O Messenger of Allah, stone her." He said: "Conceal yourself with the concealment of Allah." Then she came on the third day while he was on his mule, and she grabbed the bridle and said: "O Messenger of Allah, I adjure you by Allah, stone her." The Messenger of Allah, blessings and peace of Allah be upon him, said: "Go away until you give birth." She gave birth to a boy and brought him to the Messenger of Allah, blessings and peace of Allah be upon him. The Messenger of Allah said to her: "Go and purify yourself from the blood." She went away and came back and said that she had purified herself from the blood. He sent for some women and ordered them to verify her [purity]. Then he dug a pit for her. Then the Messenger of Allah, blessings and peace of Allah be upon him, took a pebble the size of a chickpea and threw it at her, and then the people threw at her. He [al-Bazzar] said: This hadith with this wording - we do not know it from the Messenger of Allah, blessings and peace of Allah be upon him, except through this route with this chain, and we do not know of any other route for it. Zakariyya ibn Sulaym is a Basran, and we do not know anyone who named this shaykh.
