حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ نَا عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى قَالَ نَا خَالِدٌ عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ عَنْ أَبِي الْمُهَلَّبِ عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ نَاقَةً لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فُقِدَتْ وَأَنَّ امْرَأَةً نَذَرَتْ أَنْ تَنْحَرَهَا فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَيْسَ عَلَى أَحَدٍ نَذْرٌ فِي مَعْصِيَةٍ أَوْ نَهَى عَنِ النَّذْرِ فِي الْمَعْصِيَةِ وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لَا نَعْلَمُ أَحَدًا رَوَاهُ إِلَّا عِمْرَانُ بِهَذَا اللَّفْظِ وَإِسْنَادُهُ حَسَنٌ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَيْسَ عَلَى أَحَدٍ نَذْرٌ فِي مَعْصِيَةٍ أَوْ نَهَى عَنِ النَّذْرِ فِي الْمَعْصِيَةِ وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لَا نَعْلَمُ أَحَدًا رَوَاهُ إِلَّا عِمْرَانُ بِهَذَا اللَّفْظِ وَإِسْنَادُهُ حَسَنٌ
English Translation
Ahmad ibn Mansur narrated to us, he said: Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Hisham narrated to us from Qatadah from al-Hasan from Imran ibn Husayn (may Allah be well pleased with him) from the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) who said: 'The best of my Ummah is the generation I was sent in, then those who follow them, then those who follow them.' Imran said: 'I do not know whether the Prophet said two or three generations after his own.'
