حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مَسْعُودِ قَالَ نَا بِشْرُ بْنُ الْمُفَضَّلِ قَالَ نَا حُمَيْدٌ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَا جَلَبَ وَلَا جُنُبَ وَلَا شِغَارَ فِي الْإِسْلَامِ وَمَنِ انْتَهَبَ فَلَيْسَ مِنَّا وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لَا نَعْلَمُهُ يُرْوَى عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ بِهَذَا اللَّفْظِ بِأَحْسَنَ مِنْ هَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ عَنْ عِمْرَانَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَا جَلَبَ وَلَا جُنُبَ وَلَا شِغَارَ فِي الْإِسْلَامِ وَمَنِ انْتَهَبَ فَلَيْسَ مِنَّا وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لَا نَعْلَمُهُ يُرْوَى عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ بِهَذَا اللَّفْظِ بِأَحْسَنَ مِنْ هَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ عَنْ عِمْرَانَ
English Translation
Abu Kamil narrated to us, he said: Abu Awanah narrated to us from Abu Bishr from Sa'id ibn Jubayr from Ibn Abbas (may Allah be well pleased with them both) who said: The Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: 'The evil eye is real. If anything were to overtake the divine decree, the evil eye would have overtaken it. And when you are asked to wash (to remedy the evil eye), then wash.'
