حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ قَالَ نَا عَفَّانُ قَالَ نَا حَمَّادٌ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ مُطَرِّفٍ عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَى عَنِ الْكَيِّ فَاكْتَوَيْنَا فَلَمْ نُفْلِحُ وَلَمْ نَنْجَحْ وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لَا نَعْلَمُهُ يُرْوَى عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَّا عَنْ عِمْرَانَ وَحْدَهُ وَلَهُ أَسَانِيدُ عَنْ عِمْرَانَ فَاجْتَزَيْنَا بِهَذَا الطَّرِيقِ مِنْهَا دُونَ غَيْرِهِ إِلَّا أَنْ يَزِيدَ غَيْرُهُ فِي ذَلِكَ كَلَامًا فَيُكْتَبُ مِنْ أَجْلِ الزِّيَادَةِ فِيهِ نَهَى عَنِ الْكَيِّ فَاكْتَوَيْنَا فَلَمْ نُفْلِحُ وَلَمْ نَنْجَحْ وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لَا نَعْلَمُهُ يُرْوَى عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَّا عَنْ عِمْرَانَ وَحْدَهُ وَلَهُ أَسَانِيدُ عَنْ عِمْرَانَ فَاجْتَزَيْنَا بِهَذَا الطَّرِيقِ مِنْهَا دُونَ غَيْرِهِ إِلَّا أَنْ يَزِيدَ غَيْرُهُ فِي ذَلِكَ كَلَامًا فَيُكْتَبُ مِنْ أَجْلِ الزِّيَادَةِ فِيهِ
English Translation
Abu Kamil narrated to us, he said: Wuhayb ibn Khalid narrated to us, he said: Abdullah ibn Tawus narrated to us from his father from Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be well pleased with him) who said: The Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: 'Indeed, a person may utter a word that pleases Allah, to which he pays no attention, but Allah elevates him in ranks because of it. And indeed, a person may utter a word that displeases Allah, to which he pays no attention, but he falls because of it into the Hellfire.'
