أَخْبَرَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ سَعْدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى بْنِ حَبَّانَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ قُلْتُ لَهُ أَرَأَيْتَ وُضُوءَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ لِكُلِّ صَلَاةٍ عَمَّنْ أَخَذَهُ قَالَ حَدَّثَتْهُ أَسْمَاءُ بِنْتُ زَيْدِ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ حَنْظَلَةَ أَنَّهُ حَدَّثَهَا أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَأْمُرُ بِالْوُضُوءِ عِنْدَ كُلِّ صَلَاةٍ فَلَمَّا شَقَّ ذَلِكَ عَلَيْهِمْ أَمَرَ بِالسِّوَاكِ عِنْدَ كُلِّ صَلَاةٍ
English Translation
Muhammad ibn Bashar narrated to us, he said: Muhammad ibn Ja'far narrated to us, he said: Shu'bah narrated to us from Qatadah from Anas from Hadrat Abdullah ibn Abi Awfa (may Allah be well pleased with him) who said: I heard the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) say: «O Allah, to You belongs all praise as befits the majesty of Your Face and the greatness of Your sovereignty. O Allah, forgive me my transgressions and my ignorance, and my extravagance in my affair, and what You know better of me than myself. O Allah, forgive me my seriousness and my jest, my error and my deliberateness, and all of that is with me. O Allah, forgive me what I have put forward and what I have delayed, and what I have concealed and what I have declared, and what You know better of me than myself. You are the First and the Last, and You have power over all things.»
Urdu Translation
محمد بن بشار نے ہمیں خبر دی، انہوں نے کہا: محمد بن جعفر نے ہمیں خبر دی، انہوں نے کہا: شعبہ نے ہمیں قتادہ سے خبر دی، انہوں نے انس سے، انہوں نے حضرت عبداللہ بن ابی اوفیٰ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے، انہوں نے فرمایا: میں نے نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کو فرماتے سنا: «اللھم لک الحمد کما ینبغی لجلال وجھک وعظیم سلطانک، اللھم اغفر لی خطیئتی وجھلی واسرافی فی امری وما انت اعلم بہ منی، اللھم اغفر لی جدی وھزلی وخطئی وعمدی وکل ذلک عندی، اللھم اغفر لی ما قدمت وما اخرت وما اسررت وما اعلنت وما انت اعلم بہ منی، انت المقدم وانت المؤخر وانت علی کل شیء قدیر۔»
