حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مِسْكِينٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي مُعَاوِيَةُ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَوْفِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ كُنَّا نَرْقِي فِي الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ فَقُلْنَا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَيْفَ تَرَى فِي ذَلِكَ قَالَ اعْرِضُوا عَلَيَّ رُقَاكُمْ لَا بَأْسَ بِهِ الرُّقَا مَا لَمْ تَكُنْ شِرْكًا
English Translation
Muhammad ibn al-Muthanna narrated to us, from 'Abd al-A'la, from Sa'id, from Qatadah, from Anas, from 'Ubadah ibn al-Samit (may Allah be pleased with him) who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: 'The dream of a righteous man is one of forty-six parts of prophethood.'
