حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ قَالَ
English Translation
Muhammad ibn Musa ibn Hammad al-Harithi narrated to us saying: Ja'far ibn Sulayman narrated to us from Thabit from Abu Rafi' who said: I entered upon Umar when he was stabbed, and Hafsah cried. So he said: 'O Hafsah, did you not hear the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) saying: The one wailed over is punished for the wailing?' This hadith has been narrated from more than one route.
