حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ السَّبَّاقِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أُسَامَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ لَمَّا ثَقُلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ هَبَطْتُ وَهَبَطَ النَّاسُ مَعِي فَدَخَلْتُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَقَدْ أُصْمِتَ فَلَا يَتَكَلَّمُ فَجَعَلَ يَرْفَعُ يَدَهُ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ ثُمَّ يَضَعُهَا عَلَيَّ فَأَعْرِفُ أَنَّهُ يَدْعُو لِي وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لَا نَعْلَمُ رَوَاهُ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أُسَامَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ إِلَّا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ السَّبَّاقِ وَقَدْ رَوَى أَبُو سَلَمَةَ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ أُسَامَةَ شَبِيهًا بِهَذِهِ الصِّفَةِ وَأَخْبَرَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ بْنِ خَالِدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ عُقْبَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ أُسَامَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ يَعْنِي مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ أُسَامَةَ
English Translation
Abu Kurayb narrated to us, he said: Yunus ibn Bukayr informed us, from Muhammad ibn Ishaq, from Sa'id ibn 'Ubayd ibn al-Sabbaq, from Muhammad ibn Usamah ibn Zayd, from his father, who said: When the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) became gravely ill, I came down and the people came down with me. I entered upon the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and he had become mute and could not speak. He kept raising his hand toward the sky and then placing it on me, and I knew that he was supplicating for me. We do not know of anyone who narrated this from Muhammad ibn Usamah from his father except Sa'id ibn 'Ubayd ibn al-Sabbaq, though Abu Salamah ibn 'Abd al-Rahman narrated something similar in description from Usamah. And Khalid ibn Yusuf ibn Khalid informed us, he said: My father narrated to me, he said: Musa ibn 'Uqbah informed us, from the son of Usamah ibn Zayd, from his father - meaning Muhammad ibn Usamah.
