حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ عَنْ عُمَارَةَ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ أَبِي الشَّعْثَاءِ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي أُسَامَةُ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمْ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَلَّى فِي الْبَيْتِ قَالَ فَقُلْتُ فَكَمْ صَلَّى قَالَ فَلَمْ يُخْبِرْنِي كَمْ صَلَّى
English Translation
'Amr ibn 'Ali narrated to us, he said: Abu Mu'awiyah informed us, he said: al-A'mash informed us, from 'Umarah - meaning Ibn 'Umayr - from Abu al-Sha'tha', from Ibn 'Umar, who said: Usamah (may Allah be pleased with them) informed me that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) prayed inside the Ka'bah. He said: I asked him how many rak'ahs he prayed, and he said: He did not tell me how many he prayed.
