قَالَ وَذُكِرَتِ الْقِرَدَةُ وَالْخَنَازِيرُ فَقُلْتُ أَكَانَ مِمَّا مُسِخَ مِنْ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ قَالَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى لَمْ يَهْلِكْ قَوْمًا فَتَرَكَ لَهُمْ نَسْلًا أَوْ عَاقِبَةً وَقَدْ كَانَتِ الْقِرَدَةُ وَالْخَنَازِيرُ أُرَاهُ قَبْلَ ذَلِكَ وَهَذَا الْكَلَامُ لَا نَعْلَمُهُ يُرْوَى عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ إِلَّا بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ قَالَ وَذُكِرَتِ الْقِرَدَةُ وَالْخَنَازِيرُ فَقُلْتُ أَكَانَ مِمَّا مُسِخَ مِنْ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ قَالَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى لَمْ يَهْلِكْ قَوْمًا فَتَرَكَ لَهُمْ نَسْلًا أَوْ عَاقِبَةً وَقَدْ كَانَتِ الْقِرَدَةُ وَالْخَنَازِيرُ أُرَاهُ قَبْلَ ذَلِكَ وَهَذَا الْكَلَامُ لَا نَعْلَمُهُ يُرْوَى عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ إِلَّا بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ
English Translation
He stated: And apes and swine were mentioned, so I stated: Were they from what was transformed from the Children of Israel? He stated: «Verily Allah, Blessed and Exalted, did not destroy a people and then leave for them offspring or progeny. The apes and swine — I see them — were before that.» This wording — we do not know it to be narrated from Abdullah except with this chain of transmission.
