حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ نا أَبُو دَاوُدَ قَالَ نا قَيْسٌ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ عَبِيدَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ رَفَعَهُ قَالَ إِنَّ مِنْ شِرَارِ النَّاسِ مَنْ تُدْرِكُهُمُ السَّاعَةُ وَهُمْ أَحْيَاءٌ وَالَّذِينَ يَتَّخِذُونَ الْقُبُورَ مَسَاجِدَ وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لَا نَعْلَمُ رَوَاهُ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ إِلَّا قَيْسٌ قَالَ إِنَّ مِنْ شِرَارِ النَّاسِ مَنْ تُدْرِكُهُمُ السَّاعَةُ وَهُمْ أَحْيَاءٌ وَالَّذِينَ يَتَّخِذُونَ الْقُبُورَ مَسَاجِدَ وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لَا نَعْلَمُ رَوَاهُ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ إِلَّا قَيْسٌ
English Translation
Abdah ibn Abdullah narrated to us, he said: Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Qays narrated to us, from al-A'mash, from Ibrahim, from Abidah, from Abdullah, who raised it [to the Prophet] and said: «Indeed, among the worst of people are those whom the Hour reaches while they are still alive, and those who take graves as places of worship.» This hadith — we do not know it to be narrated from al-A'mash with this chain of transmission except by Qays.
