حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُوسَى قَالَ نا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَا يَقُولَنَّ أَحَدُكُمْ نَسِيتُ آيَةَ كَذَا وَكَذَا بَلْ هُوَ نُسِيَّ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَا يَقُولَنَّ أَحَدُكُمْ نَسِيتُ آيَةَ كَذَا وَكَذَا بَلْ هُوَ نُسِيَّ
English Translation
Muhammad ibn al-Muthanna narrated to us, he said: Abd ar-Rahman narrated to us from Shu'bah from Sulaiman and Mansur from Abu ad-Duha from Masruq from Abdullah from the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) who said: «Whoever takes a false oath to wrongfully take the property of a Muslim, Allah will make the Fire obligatory for him and forbid him from Paradise.» A man said: Even if it is something insignificant, O Messenger of Allah? He said: «Even if it is a twig of arak [toothbrush tree].»
Urdu Translation
محمد بن مثنیٰ نے ہم سے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا: عبدالرحمن نے شعبہ سے، انہوں نے سلیمان اور منصور سے، انہوں نے ابو الضحیٰ سے، انہوں نے مسروق سے، انہوں نے عبداللہ سے، انہوں نے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے روایت کیا کہ آپ نے فرمایا: «جس نے کسی مسلمان کا مال ناحق لینے کے لیے جھوٹی قسم کھائی، اللہ تعالیٰ اس پر آگ واجب کر دے گا اور اسے جنت سے منع کر دے گا۔» ایک آدمی نے کہا: اگرچہ وہ چھوٹی چیز ہو، اے اللہ کے رسول؟ آپ نے فرمایا: «اگرچہ وہ مسواک کی ایک شاخ ہو۔»
