أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ وَأَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْقَاضِي وَأَبُو زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ الْمُزَكِّي قَالُوا ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ أنبأ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْحَكَمِ أنبأ ابْنُ وَهْبٍ أَخْبَرَنِي اللَّيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ أنَّ أَبَا الزُّبَيْرِ أَخْبَرَهُ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ ؓ أَقْبَلَتْ مُهِلَّةً بِعُمْرَةٍ حَتَّى إِذَا كَانَتْ بِسَرِفَ عَرَكَتْ فَدَخَلَ عَلَيْهَا النَّبِيُّ ﷺ فَوَجَدَهَا تَبْكِي فَقَالَ مَا يُبْكِيكِ؟ قَالَتْ حِضْتُ وَلَمْ أَحْلِلْ وَلَمْ أَطُفْ بِالْبَيْتِ وَالنَّاسُ يَذْهَبُونَ إِلَى الْحَجِّ الْآنَ قَالَ فَإِنَّ هَذَا أَمْرٌ كَتَبَهُ اللهُ عَلَى بَنَاتِ آدَمَ فَاغْتَسِلِي ثُمَّ أَهِلِّي بِالْحَجِّ فَفَعَلَتْ وَوَقَفَتِ الْمَوَاقِفَ حَتَّى إِذَا طَهُرَتْ طَافَتْ بِالْكَعْبَةِ وَبِالصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ ثُمَّ قَالَ قَدْ حَلَلْتِ مِنْ حَجِّكِ وَعُمْرَتِكِ جَمِيعًا فَقَالَتْ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنِّي أَجِدُ فِي نَفْسِي أَنِّي لَمْ أَطُفْ بِالْبَيْتِ حَتَّى حَجَجْتُ قَالَ فَاذْهَبْ بِهَا يَا عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ فَأَعْمِرْهَا مِنَ التَّنْعِيمِ وَذَلِكَ لَيْلَةَ الْحَصْبَةِ
English Translation
Jabir ibn Abdullah narrated that Aishah entered ihram for Umrah, and when she reached Sarif, she began menstruating. The Prophet (peace be upon him) entered upon her and found her crying. He said: "What makes you cry?" She said: "I have begun menstruating and have not completed my Umrah, and I have not performed tawaf of the House while the people are going to Hajj now." He said: "This is something that Allah has decreed for the daughters of Adam. Perform ghusl and enter ihram for Hajj." She did so and stood at the stations. When she became pure, she performed tawaf of the Ka'bah and of al-Safa and al-Marwah. Then he said: "You have completed both your Hajj and your Umrah." She said: "O Messenger of Allah, I feel uneasy that I did not perform tawaf of the House before my Hajj." He said: "Take her, O Abd al-Rahman, and let her perform Umrah from al-Tan'im." That was on the night of al-Hasbah.
