أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ بْنُ بِشْرَانَ أنبأ أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ الرَّزَّازُ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ ثنا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ كَمْ مَضَى مِنَ الشَّهْرِ قَالُوا مَضَى اثْنَتَانِ وَعِشْرُونَ وَبَقِيَ ثَمَانٍ فَقَالَ بَلْ مَضَى اثْنَتَانِ وَعِشْرُونَ وَبَقِيَ سَبْعٌ اطْلُبُوهَا اللَّيْلَةَ
English Translation
Abu Hurayrah reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'How much of the month has passed?' They said: 'Twenty-two days have passed and eight remain.' He said: 'Rather, twenty-two have passed and seven remain. Seek it tonight.'
