وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ بْنُ بِشْرَانَ بِبَغْدَادَ أنبأ إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الصَّفَّارُ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أنبأ مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ أَنَسٍ أَوْ غَيْرِهِ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ اسْتَأْذَنَ عَلَى سَعْدِ بْنِ عُبَادَةَ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ قَالَ ثُمَّ دَخَلُوا الْبَيْتَ فَقَرَّبَ لَهُ زَبِيبًا فَأَكَلَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَلَمَّا فَرَغَ قَالَ أَكَلَ طَعَامَكُمُ الْأَبْرَارُ وَصَلَّتْ عَلَيْكُمُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ وَأَفْطَرَ عِنْدَكُمُ الصَّائِمُونَ
English Translation
Anas narrated — or someone else — that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) sought permission to enter upon Sa'd ibn Ubadah. He mentioned the hadith: They entered the house and food — raisins — was placed before him. The Messenger of Allah ate, and when he finished, he said: 'May the righteous eat your food, may the angels pray for you, and may the fasting break their fast with you.'
