أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو ا��ْحُسَيْنِ بْنُ بِشْرَانَ الْعَدْلُ بِبَغْدَادَ أنبأ أَبُو الْحَسَنِ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الطَّيِّبِيُّ ثنا أَبُو عَلِيٍّ بِشْرُ بْنُ مُوسَى الْأَسَدِيُّ ثنا الْمُقْرِئُ ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ زِيَادٍ حدَّثَنِي زِيَادُ بْنُ نُعَيْمٍ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ زِيَادَ بْنَ الْحَارِثِ الصُّدَائِيَّ صَاحِبَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ يُحَدِّثُ قَالَ أَتَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ إِلَى أَنْ قَالَ ثُمَّ أَتَاهُ آخَرُ فَقَالَ يَا نَبِيَّ اللهِ أَعْطِنِي فَقَالَ نَبِيُّ اللهِ ﷺ مَنْ سَأَلَ النَّاسَ عَنْ ظَهْرِ غِنًى فَصُدَاعٌ فِي الرَّأْسِ وَدَاءٌ فِي الْبَطْنِ فَقَالَ السَّائِلُ فَأَعْطِنِي مِنَ الصَّدَقَةِ فَقَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِنَّ اللهَ ﷻ لَمْ يَرْضَ فِيهَا بِحُكْمِ نَبِيٍّ وَلَا غَيْرِهِ فِي الصَّدَقَاتِ حَتَّى حَكَمَ هُوَ فِيهَا فَجَزَّأَهَا ثَمَانِيَةَ أَجْزَاءٍ فَإِنْ كُنْتَ مِنْ تِلْكَ الْأَجْزَاءِ أَعْطَيْتُكَ أَوْ أَعْطَيْنَاكَ حَقَّكَ
English Translation
Abu al-Husayn ibn Bishran al-Adl informed us in Baghdad... from Ziyad ibn al-Harith al-Suda'i, a Companion of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), who narrated a long hadith including: Then another man came and said: 'O Prophet of Allah, give me.' The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'Whoever asks people when he has sufficiency, it will be a headache and a stomach ailment.' The beggar said: 'Then give me from the charity.' The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'Allah was not satisfied with the judgment of any prophet or anyone else regarding charities until He Himself ruled on them, dividing them into eight categories. If you are from those categories, I will give you your right.'
