وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ الْفَقِيهُ أنبأ عَلِيُّ بْنُ عُمَرَ الْحَافِظُ ثنا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ثنا أَبُو هِشَامٍ ثنا حَفْصٌ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ سَلْعٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ خَيْرٍ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ ؓ أَنَّهُ كَانَ يُكَبِّرُ عَلَى أَهْلِ بَدْرٍ سِتًّا وَعَلَى أَصْحَابِ مُحَمَّدٍ ﷺ خَمْسًا وَعَلَى سَائِرِ النَّاسِ أَرْبَعًا
English Translation
Discussion of the number of takbirs in the funeral prayer — four is the established practice, though five has been narrated in specific cases.
