English Translation
'A'ishah said: 'When Sa'd ibn Abi Waqqas died, the wives of the Prophet (peace be upon him) sent word asking that his funeral bier be brought through the mosque so they could pray over him.' This was done, and he was placed near their rooms. People objected, so 'A'ishah said: 'How hasty people are! The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) only prayed over Suhayl ibn Bayda' in the mosque.'
