أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الرُّوذْبَارِيُّ أنبأ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ثنا هَارُونُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ ثنا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ ح قَالَ وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ قَالَ وَثنا ابْنُ الْمُثَنَّى ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ يَعْنِي الطَّيَالِسِيَّ قَالَا ثنا حَرْبُ بْنُ شَدَّادٍ ثنا يَحْيَى حَدَّثَنِي بَابُ بْنُ عُمَيْرٍ حَدَّثَنِي رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ لَا تُتَّبَعَنَّ الْجِنَازَةُ بِصَوْتٍ وَلَا نَارٍ زَادَ هَارُونُ وَلَا يُمْشَى بَيْنَ يَدَيْهَا قَالَ الشَّيْخُ يُرِيدُ بِهِ وَاللهُ أَعْلَمُ وَلَا يُمْشَى بَيْنَ يَدَيْهَا بِنَارٍ كَمَا لَا تُتَّبَعُ بِنَارٍ
English Translation
Abu Musa al-Ash'ari narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'When the child of a servant dies, Allah says to His angels: "You have taken the child of My servant?" They say: "Yes." He says: "You have taken the fruit of his heart?" They say: "Yes." He says: "What did My servant say?" They say: "He praised You and said inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un." Allah says: "Build for My servant a house in Paradise and name it the House of Praise."'
