أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الرُّوذْبَارِيُّ أنبأ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ ثنا حَمَّادٌ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ أَنَسٍ أَنَّ غُلَامًا مِنَ الْيَهُودِ كَانَ مَرِضَ فَأَتَاهُ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يَعُودُهُ فَقَعَدَ عِنْدَ رَأْسِهِ فَعَرَضَ عَلَيْهِ الْإِسْلَامَ فَقَالَ أَبُوهُ أَطِعْ أَبَا الْقَاسِمِ فَأَسْلَمَ فَقَامَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ وَهُوَ يَقُولُ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي أَنْقَذَهُ بِي مِنَ النَّارِ
English Translation
The continuation of the previous hadith: 'O son of Adam, I asked you for food and you did not feed Me. O son of Adam, I asked you for water and you did not give Me drink.' The servant asks how, and Allah explains it was through His servants in need.
