English Translation
Muhammad ibn Abdullah al-Hafiz narrated to us... from Ata' ibn Abi Rabah, from Aisha, the wife of the Prophet (peace be upon him), who said: Whenever the wind blew strongly, the Prophet (peace be upon him) would say: 'O Allah, I ask You for its good, the good that is in it, and the good it has been sent with. And I seek refuge in You from its evil, the evil that is in it, and the evil it has been sent with.' She said: When the sky became overcast, his color changed, and he would go out and come in, going back and forth. When it rained, he was relieved. Aisha noticed this from him and asked him, so he said: 'Perhaps, O Aisha, it is as the people of 'Ad said: {Then when they saw it as a cloud approaching their valleys, they said: This is a cloud bringing us rain} [46:24].'
